All Teams Home in 2005 Adventure Racing World Championship |

All teams in the 2005 Adventure Racing World Championship have arrived home although some a little later than others.
Cross Sportswear crossed the finish at 6.47pm and Sierra International at 7.58pm last night.But the Kiwi team Orion Adventure did not arrive out of the bush at TA 10 until this morning at 8.15am. They missed the after party function and are all in good spirits! |

Starting with live coverage of the Adventure Racing World Championships in Newfoundland in August ‘04, SleepMonsters became the official web site partner for The Adventure Racing World Series.
Announcing the move last year Geoff Hunt, founder of the World Series, "As a worldwide series of events representing some of the best adventure races in the world, it was a natural move to join with a partner with truly global reach. Over the past year the professional and dedicated approach to the promotion of the sport has seen the coverage of the ARWorld Series increased dramatically."
With 10,000 members in 60 countries, SleepMonsters currently has national sites in Canada, the USA, the UK, Australia, Denmark and Holland, plus the original SleepMonsters.com site. Rated as the world’s number one adventure racing web site SleepMonsters is a unique resource for adventure racing news and reporting worldwide.

Susan McKenzie, will also be reporting from the event to be held on the west coast of the southern alps and her stories will be carried exclusively on all SleepMonsters sites. Susan’s experience of international race reporting includes Eco-Challenge , Southern Traverse, Explore Sweden, Extreme Adventure Hidalgo (Mexico), and the first Adventure Racing World Championship in Switzerland.
The SleepMonsters coverage of the Adventure Racing World Championship will begin shortly with a look at the teams taking part and the venue, and during the race there will be regular reports and updates from the course.
